MGB GT V8 1973 LHD Chassis n°: G D2D1 366 G Engine n°: 4860 0277 This "woolf in sheepsclothes" is one of the rare (in total 2.591 examples produced), genuine and sought after factory MGB GT V8 's. A British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate confirms so. This highly original MGB GT V8 (matching numbers, original milage of only 50.000 miles, original color and original upholstery) is in impeccable all round condition and runs superbly. The mighty V8 power (from the Range Rover - ex-Buick - 3.500 cc V8 engine) offers more torque than power (137 HP) and transforms this GT into a real "poors man Aston Martin", but then much more agile and offering more driving fun. A real pleasure! Top speed is at 200 Km/h. Good thing is that apart from only a handfull of experimental LHD versions for the US market this specific MGB GT V8 was professionally converted from RHD to LHD preserving the typical V8 dashboard with smaller Speedo and Rev counter and thicker safety steering column. This GT looks very attractive in her 'Damask Red' original color, slightly green tinted windows and typical V8 light aluminium wheels. Registered as a normal car in Belgium (not as an 'oldtimer'), this MGB GT V8 comes with Belgian registration documents, a BMIHT certificate and a very flattery press article written in 2004 in "AutoGids" on this particular and exceptional MG.
