This Porsche 356 Cabriolet is one of the 1.240 examples pre-A typical “Knickscheibe” convertibles built between April 1952 and July 1955 by Reutter.
The “Porsche Zertifikat” confirms the car was sold new on the 24-th of June 1953 to the Porsche dealer Hahn in Stuttgart/Germany and is today still correct and matching engine (except from an exterior body colour change from original Mode Grey to Black).
The well documented history file tells in fact… a long story of love! Logic that the file contains photos of:
After all this care, energy and money invested, one is not surprised that, as the photos clearly show, the presentation is absolutely perfect.
The mirror-like finish of the black body paint matches the sumptuous red leather interior perfectly. Also very attractive are the period Telefunken radio + Hirschmann antenna, the black mohair hood and hood-bag, the correct 3.25x16” wheels with stylish brand new Firestone 5,00-5,25x16 white wall tyres.
A short test-drive will immediately confirm that also the mechanics are in excellent nick. This pre-A Porsche 356 is a great pleasure to drive!
